( My Watchmen experience (spoilers!) lazily copy and pasted from an email telling a friend about it because I said everything I thought about it in that, and because I am currently feeling slightly lazy. )

I decided to reread Watchmen before the movie comes out, and I figured out why it's not quite the Grail of comic books for me:

Since I am a self-admitted pop culture junkie (not always a good thing to be), I probably will have the Oscars on in the background on Sunday-if nothing else, I'm still curious every year as to who wins the acting, directing, and best pictures prizes. Not to jinx anything, but I'm going to say I don't think anything is quite locked for a win yet.
